1993 the presidential torch passed from Karl Guttmann to his son, Steven Guttmann.

In 1997 Steve Guttmann & Jeff Blaevoet establish a new leadership team; company’s name changes to Guttmann & Blaevoet.  Company joins USGBC in 1998.  Steve Guttmann becomes third engineer to earn LEED AP status in the Bay Area.
