The principals of Guttmann & Blaevoet are pleased to announce the new level of leadership of Associate Principal, and the promotions of Tunde Munz and Gurdaver Singh to Associate Principal.
Tunde Munz, PE, LEED AP, is recognized for her increasing leadership in design and project management. Tunde brings exceptional client service to her projects, resulting in successful projects and long-term client relationships. In healthcare facilities, Tunde leads our design teams for the new $90 million Valley Specialty Center in San Jose, and the $160 million Stanford Outpatient Center, North Campus in Redwood City. Cultural projects also include the $80 million new World of Ecology for the California Science Center in Los Angeles, and the Redwood Shores Community Library. A strong proponents of sustainable design, she is member of the U.S. Green Building Council’s Northern California Chapter and the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE). Tunde has a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Technical University for Construction, Bucharest, Romania.
Gurdaver Singh, PE, LEED AP joined the firm in 2004 from the United Kingdom. Leading marketing and design services for our Sacramento office, he is serving as associate principal on the new 100,000 sf Health and Wellness Center at the University of California, Davis. With extensive experience in large project design and management, he is also providing construction administration for the $38 million Science II Building at California State University, Stanislaus, designing for three outpatient centers for the Santa Clara Valley Health & Hospital System and the 120-bed Gero-Psychiatric Replacement Hospital for the Veterans Administration in Menlo Park. In the UK, he served as mechanical project and design manager for a 750-bed, $300 million hospital and associated $50 million diagnostic and treatment center. Gurdaver is a member of the California Society of Hospital Engineers. He received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with Honours from Dundee University, UK.
