Senior Mechanical Engineer, FT. Responsible for research, planning and design of HVAC, plumbing, mechanical and fire protection systems. Min. Req: B.S. Mechanical Engineering, U.S., P.E. License, 5 yrs. commercial, institutional, industrial, and private projects. Experienced & trained in ground source heat pump systems, energy studies. Designing, energy modeling, controls, LEED AP, management of multidisciplinary teams, staff training, project management, preparing proposals, knowledge of ME software programs, codes and systems. Commissioning Engineer, FT. Work with established commissioning team on interesting, challenging, new construction and major renovation projects, as part of a consulting engineering firm committed to green, sustainable, and LEED projects. 2 – 5 years design experience, including control system design. Design/build or field experience with HVAC systems, especially controls, is desired. Ability to work independently, under general supervision, and meet deadlines. Good technical writing and verbal communications skills. Working knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel. Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently, with organized work habits. Some travel in greater Bay Area required. BS degree in mechanical or controls systems engineering preferred; EIT or PE a plus. LEED accreditation a plus.
