Jeff Blaevoet, principal of Guttmann & Blaevoet, will be presenting at a panel discussion hosted by ASHRAE Redwood Empire Chapter on December 5, 2007. Jeff, along with two other local engineers – Paul Larkins, PE, LEED AP and Pat Bailey, PE – will focus on current experiences and future trends in Green Building Design with specific lessons learned from Green/LEED rated projects. Guttmann & Blaevoet is very excited to welcome Maia Speer to join our commissioning team. With nineteen years of broad-based experience in building HVAC engineering design, review and control systems, Maia has extensive knowledge in building commissioning, energy efficient design and audit as well as building control systems. A licensed Professional Engineer and LEED Accredited Professional, Maia brings her technical expertise to the commissioning field and has managed multiple commissioning and retro-commissioning projects for institutional, correctional, K-12, higher education and airport facilities.
