Labs

The new Genomics program needed a start-up facility while awaiting completion of a permanent building.  This 21,500 square foot building contains laboratories, vivarium, and offices.  It houses the genomics, bioinformatics and Seed Biotechnology Center/California Crop Improvement Association research groups during the early phase of the UC Davis Genome Program.  Laboratories are located in two zones at the southern end of the building.  Each zone is composed of a large, open laboratory along the perimeter, adjacent to an internal bank of specialty laboratories and linked by the equipment corridor.
