Guttmann & Blaevoet provided mechanical design for this 120-bed in-patient facility which houses a unique program dedicated to psychiatric and skilled nursing care for three generations of veterans.  The facility consists of six nursing wings in three buildings, one of which is competely secure, plus support services including clinic, chapel, utility, and administration structures.  Our mechanical design maximizes energy efficiency utilizing chillers and pumps with variable frequency drives and a variable air volume system in the nursing and support areas.
