Mechanical design and commissioning services for new, $48 million, 150,000 square foot facility to support the physical education department and campus athletic programs. This state-of-the-art facility serves as a gateway from Ocean Avenue to the campus and creates a much-needed student activity center. Program spaces include gymnasium, indoor swimming pool, fitness center, weight room, dance studio facilities with NC-25 acoustics, martial arts and techniques studios, classrooms and faculty offices. Our energy analysis resulted in a building that is 18.6% superior to the 2001 California energy code and received a Savings by Design owner incentive of $25,000. Services include LEED commissioning. Estimated completion of construction 2007.
