This historic hotel boasts spectacular views and a romantic setting. The new owners, Orient Express Hotels, plan to restore and expand the hotel to become a premier hotel and conference facility. The existing hotel consists of a main dining and meeting structure surrounded by 23 bungalows with from one to 12 suites. Phase 1 work, completed in 2005, includes a master plan for the renovation and upgrade and design for rehabilitation of four historic bungalows. In the master plan, we selected the optimum mechanical system for the upgrade. Phase II, to begin in 2006, includes a new central plant, new parking structure, new main building for conferences, dining, and amenities, and a new swimming pool and poolhouse.
