Guttmann & Blaevoet provided a mechanical system evaluation for renovation of the historic 8,000 square foot Old Winery Building.  Subsequent renovation of the north wing of the Old Winery Building included two tasting rooms, a pantry, restrooms and retail space. Revisions to the mechanical room included provisions for future renovation of the building’s central and south wings.  Our mechanical design included full air conditioning with concealed ductwork for aesthetics. The new 1,500 square foot Visitor’s Center with retail area included a wine storage room, which must maintain a temperature of 600 and a relative humidity of 60%, demanding a special commercial refrigeration and dehumidification system.  Current work includes renovation of the central wing of the Old Winery Building.
