PROJECTS

Helen Diller Family Cancer Research Center, UCSF Mission Bay

University of California, San Francisco, Mission Bay Campus

This new laboratory research building will house researchers who study brain and prostate cancer, as well as members of the Cancer Research Institute and cancer researchers in the population sciences.  The building contains offices, a large open atrium with smoke evacuation system, open research labs, support spaces, cold rooms, an MRI room, and a vivarium.   Overhead radiant  cooling systems are used in office areas on the north side of the building, and a radiant slab is used in the Central Atrium. Among our commissioning services are development of owner project requirements, design review, commissioning plan, commissioning specifications, functional performance tests, and systems O&M training.  Commissioning for all building systems includes such specialty systems as laboratory room-pressure controls, lab equipment, laboratory gases, pure water systems, and radiant cooling and heating systems.
