Mechanical, electrical, and low voltage design for the eight building multi-phase project. Phase 1 Master Plan includes site plan, circulation, and preliminary landscaping, including future expansion of operations. Phase 2 includes Detail Design and Final Construction Documents. Major components include new 30,000sf maintenance shop with office space, wash rack and paint booth, 12,000sf covered parking for sweeper and sand trucks, 13,500sf covered vehicle parking for large equipment, 3-12,000 gallon storage tanks and fueling island, 3,200sf police equipment storage building, 3,130sf pole barn, and a snow storage area.

Sustainable features include a rain water collection system feeding the truck wash bay, a radiant heating system in the maintenance facility, a 100% outside air system with heat recovery in the animal shelter, and a dedicated outdoor air system, a water-cooled variable refrigerant flow HVAC system using a geothermal ground loop. Systems to accommodate the climate include roof, gutter, downspout, and walkway snow melt systems, and freeze protection for the fire sprinkler system and exterior hose bibbs. LEED Silver certified.
