New $143 million, 149,775 gross square foot critical facility, designed to house some of the fastest supercomputers in the world. The main components of the facility are the High Performance Computer Center (approximately 20,000 GSF), as well as two floors of office space with workrooms, conference rooms, support spaces, and a visualization lab for modeling and viewing simulations. The facility will provide offices and labs for approximately 300 staff.

This facility is expected to greatly benefit global climate change research, fusion energy research, biological and environmental research, energy science and astrophysics.
